When we make a change on a part record and use old version it changes the decimal on our default cost when we update the record.
So a part that has a default cost of 0,27 SEK is changed to 27 SEK.

Here I want to remove a typo on the oem part #
This does not happend if we use the new version.
However since there are a few other things that does not work in new version we cannot set everyting to default to using new version which means that some users that has old version enabled and that messes up our costs.
Thank you for the details and included screenshots. I was able to reproduce an example on my end and am reviewing with engineering so that we can correct, apologies for the inconvenience.
I also checked the new/old versions on the Part > Pricing tab and looks like its is functioning similar. Just wanted to mention this to give you a heads up while we work to correct these issues. I will be in touch again as soon as I have information.
Just wanted to provide an update here that our engineering team has a fix for both the last resort cost and pricing tab. I do not have an exact ETA for when the fixes will get deployed, but it’s usually 1 to 2 weeks after validating the fix.
A bit more info - I’m sure you’ve noticed the different formatting between the new and old version, SEK 0.27 vs 00,27 SEK. The plan of action here is to firstly have the currency values calculate correctly when using the comma (00,27 SEK) on the old versions (this is how the fixes are in place). Secondly, we want to change the new version to reflect the appropriate currency formatting from 0.27 to 00,27 SEK. In the coming weeks we will also be reviewing other areas of the system to make sure the correct formatting and value is being maintained where the commas are used in SEK currency.
