What happens when you "create Contact"?

Under the “buyer” field for a Sales order, what happens when you click on “create Contact”? does it create a new customer? or new CETEC user? or ???

Looking for some clarification…We’ve not used this link before and have had questions regarding this link…

To clarify, you’re talking about the “Create Contact” link next to the dropdown box for the Buyer field that is visible when editing the header information on a Quote, correct?

That link will open a popup window for you to create a new contact linked to the customer on the quote.
